Self Help Attorney Consultations

Attorney consultations are available at two of our locations.

Mondays and Tuesdays – In-person appointments are available at the Downtown Orange County Courthouse, Suite 340, 425 North Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801.

Wednesdays and Thursdays – In-person appointments are available at the Winter Park Courthouse, 4037 Metric Drive, Winter Park, FL 32792.

Fridays – Appointments are available virtually via Zoom online meeting.

Once an appointment is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation at the email address you provided. Virtual appointments will receive a second email 24 hours before the appointment containing the Zoom link needed to access the online meeting.

Please note that our attorneys cannot assist with completing paperwork directly. However, they are available to answer questions regarding your documents. Document review will be based on the duration of your scheduled appointment.
 

Consultations can be scheduled in 15-minute sessions, with a maximum of 1 hour per day, per person. The fee for an attorney consultation is only $1 per minute.

The Self Help Services we offer can only assist with these case types:

• Family Law (excluding restraining orders)
  • Child Custody 
  • Divorce   
  • Paternity   
• Small Claims ($8,000 or less)
• Residential Evictions

These consultations are a joint effort between the Orange County Bar Association and the Clerk’s Office. All attorneys are provided by the Orange County Bar Association. Please note that the attorneys cannot represent you in court.

Consultation fees must be paid when the appointment is scheduled. Please be aware that no refunds will be issued for missed or canceled appointments—no exceptions. Once scheduled, appointments cannot be rescheduled. Attorney consultations cannot be conducted or scheduled by phone.
