Marriage License Application Acceptance Statement
Before beginning the marriage license application process, please complete the Acceptance Statement below.
Florida law requires all couples to read the Family Law Handbook before applying for a marriage license. If you have not done so, please download a copy of the Florida Law Handbook in English or Spanish. Please note that completing this application does NOT begin the 3-day waiting period. The 3-day waiting period does not begin until after the couple comes together to the Clerk’s office and purchases the marriage license in person.
