This December, the Orange County Clerk of Courts invites couples to step into a storybook setting with its debut Winter Wonderland Weddings, where holiday charm, and heartfelt vows come together to create unforgettable moments of love.
Throughout the month of December, the Downtown Orlando Courthouse ceremony room will be transformed into a cozy winter retreat — complete with winter holiday décor, and seasonal touches.
“Our Clerk family is excited to introduce Winter Wonderland Weddings as a joyful new way for couples to begin their journey together,” said Tiffany Moore Russell, Orange County Clerk of Courts. “We wanted to create an experience that captures the essence and spirit of the season — one filled with warmth, joy, and love.”
Ceremonies are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except for the Christmas holiday, during which the courthouse and the Clerk of Courts will be closed on December 24 - 26, 2025. Appointments and walk-ins are available. Appointment availability is limited, so couples are encouraged to register early to reserve their preferred time. Please note that the marriage license and ceremony each require separate fees. For Florida residents, certain requirements may apply, including a three-day waiting period before the ceremony.
More details on requirements and fees can be found in the marriage section of our website.
Couples should also remember that marriage licenses are valid for only 60 days, and the ceremony must take place within that period for the marriage to be valid.
Traditional ceremonies remain available year-round at all Clerk’s Office locations, including Winter Park, Apopka, and Ocoee, during normal business hours.
